The World Methodist Council received with sadness the news of the gruesome execution on 20th January of the Rev. Lawan Andimi, a Leader in the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, who served as District Secretary in Michika and as the Chairperson of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Michika Area of Adamawa State. The Rev. Andimi was shown in a video clip released by his abductors a few days before his killing.
